Our Founder

After spending over 10 years working in the private club industry, our founder, Jackie Carpenter, CCM served as the Editor of The Private Club Advisor, where she educated general managers and board members for 12 years. After the publication unexpectedly shut down, Jackie was, determined to continue her passion. This is how Notable was created. 

Jackie and her husband Three, are the authors of People First: The 5 Steps to Pure Human Connection and a Thriving Organization. They speak to numerous organizations and have visited over 20 chapters of CMAA as keynote speakers in the last three years. Jackie is also a contributing author to The ABC’s Of Plutonium Private Club Leadership and Clubology: The Science and Strategy of Being in the People Business. Jackie is well-known and well-respected in the private club industry. She and her husband, a private club general manager, live in Minneapolis, MN, with their two small children.
